Bond-It Multi-Mate, Multi Purpose Silicone Sealant Brown, contains fungicide to prevent mould growth.
A superior flexible silicone with fungicide that is ideal for most household sealing jobs, both inside and outside. Skins in minutes to give a tack-free surface.
Uses:- For sealing joints and window frames in humid areas around the home. Suitable for basins, baths showers, sinks and work surfaces where a flexible, mould resistant seal is required. Excellent adhesion to glass , ceramic, aluminium, many plastics and most paints.
Application:- All surfaces must be clean, dry and dust and grease free. When sealing deep joints use foam backer rods to minimise wastage. Cut the tip of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded area. Screw on the nozzle and cut at an angle of 45° to an opening slightly larger than the gap to be sealed. Apply using a standard sealant gun. Tool down immediately after application using a wetted spatula. Clean tools after use using white spirit, before product dries.
Limitations:- Not suitable for use on concrete, marble, galvanised steel, copper, brass or lead; for fixing mirrors or aquaria assembly.
Storage:- Store in cool, dry conditions at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
Health & Safety:- Acetic acid is evolved during the curing process. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with skin or eyes wash immediately with water and seek medical attention. Do not take internally. Use in well ventilated areas. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
