The CSI 150 is a 6kW to 42kW boiler that complements our existing range, producing extremely low levels of NOx, well below UK standards. With a 3 year guarantee and at just 700 x 400 x 300 mm, it is believed to be the smallest boiler on the market with such a high output.
Energycatcher is a small unit integrated on the top of the boiler measuring 400W x 300D x 270H. Whenever the boiler is working the exhaust flue gases, instead of going straight out to the atmosphere, are fed into the ENERGYCATCHER where they flow over a patented heat exchanger transferring heat into stored hot water.
The flue gases then vent to the atmosphere considerably cooler. When there is a demand for hot water (the tap is turned on) the stored water in Energycatcher is used via the combi and the incoming cold water is also preheated for domestic hot water at no extra cost. Combistore is similar to Combiplus but has the added benefit of a 14litre remote storage tank for additional thermal gain. Combistore has been designed for households requiring higher volumes of domestic hot water on demand.
With the latest Energycatcher technology Combistore boilers are over 97% efficient in converting gas to heat. CombiPlus adds 7% to boiler efficiency and therefore you are able to save 7% on your gas bills per year against the best band A condensing boiler and up to 52% when replacing a non condensing boiler. Plus the unit delivers FREE domestic hot water – good news for the user’s gas bills and also the environment. In addition the flue exhaust temperature, or plume is also considerably cooler. Tests show that the plume temperature is reduced by up to 45oC, making it safer and resulting in much less heat being pumped into the atmosphere.
